Eurowings will operate the Frankfurt-Windhoek route seasonally, three times a week, with an Airbus A330 aircraft. The first flight will depart Frankfurt Oct. 29 at 8 p.m. and arrive in Windhoek on Oct. 30 at 6:15 a.m.The return flight from Windhoek will depart on Oct. 30 at 8:35 a.m. and will arrive in Frankfurt at 6:55 the same day.
Low-cost carrier Eurowings will commence long-haul flights from Frankfurt Airport in October 2019. This will be the first-ever presence of the Lufthansa subsidiary at the busiest airport in Germany.

Eurowings currently offers long-haul services from Dusseldorf and
Munich. As soon as the winter flight schedule goes into effect in
October 2019, Eurowings will start flights from Frankfurt to the island
destinations Mauritius and Barbados. Furthermore, there will be flights
to Windhoek in Namibia. Additional destinations are currently being
planned.
The long-haul flights are operated by Airbus A330-200 and A330-300
aircraft. The Airbus A330-200s are operated by Sun Express Germany,
whereas the larger A330-300s are operated by Brussels Airlines on behalf
of the low-cost carrier.
